"Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge." - Psalm 19:2 (ESV)

There is actually a call of God (a very real destiny) upon your life. The God of the Universe, the Creator of all we see and know and perceive and don't perceive, He is the One who made you and has a purpose for your life. A purpose which wherein you fit perfectly

It's often challenging and always fun (except maybe fasting... but the results are awesome!).

The problem is that many if not most never walk in the fullness of that calling, and as far as I can tell the reason is simple... idols.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. - 1 John 5:21

Yes, idols.

Not little wooden or gold or silver objects made into the image of man or animal and called 'gods'... at least not in the Western world. But most often it is just something you value more than you value God's presence in your life.

An idol is anything you love or like more than you love or like Jesus Christ.

I've had some of these in my life, and they always without fail end up robbing me of God's best!

What is it for you?

T.V., movies, video games, porn, marijuana, alcohol, work, wife, husband, children, car, sport, ... the list goes on and on.

Is there something you value more than God... something which you think about constantly that robs you of a life of pure devotion. A Romans 12 verse 1 and 2 life...

I've got some good news for you!

He's calling today... all day.

He'll call tonight... all night.

He'll call tomorrow.

The measure of His call which you walk in is determined by your response today.

Don't let another day by without answering.
