I wonder if the Internet and World Wide Web has caused churches to grow? I'm not asking from place of knowing [so I can't tell you the answer], but I can give a few helpful thoughts if you are wondering about church growth, or growing your small group (cell group). Or even growing as a person. There is one word that the growth of any community is based on: RELATIONSHIPS.

The bottom line is that people can walk into my church for 101 reasons, but they will stay for one! - relationship. In other words, they get connected (intertwined, caught, found) in some kind of relationship that they like, or find beneficial.

I send out a lot of invites to stuff - meetings, events, and stuff that I believe would benefit people who attend. IF they come - they usually don't come because of my invite alone (sometimes they do), but probably they come because of a real person who didn't just reach out to them, but found them out, called them, invited them, maybe even picked them up and brought them, then sat with them and hung out with them AT the service - introduced them to people afterward, etc...

People these days - SO easy to reach, to touch, to get a word to...

... but they are still people, still wanting to be found, by God - by his church. They are still wanting to be loved, and know they are important!

... remember, they will come for 101 reasons, they will stay for one.
