In taking a few moments this morning and reading through 1 Thessalonians - a few verses on prayer have come to my attention: 1 Thessalonians 1:2 We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 Therefore, we never stop thanking (thanking is praying!) God that when you received his message from us, you didn't think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God--which, or course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.

1 Thessalonians 3:9,10 How we thank God for you! Because of you we have great joy as we enter God's presence. Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill the gaps in your faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:16,17,18 Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

It is evident to me (as I could well demonstrate by any other of Paul's writings) that prayer is AT THE TOP OF THE LIST! Prayer releases power! Prayer neutralizes and conquers darkness. Prayer releases the blessings and kingdom of God. Jesus said, "Hey guys, when you pray, pray like this, "Our Father in heaven, your name is holy and awesome! Let your kingdom come! Let your will be done..."

David Yonggi Cho, pastor of one of the world's largest churches with nearly 1 million people, said this:

"The growth of our church and the growth of Christianity throughout the nation of South Korea did not come by accident. It came through fervent, violent, and prevailing prayer..."

Dunamis Church - and church in Canada: WE NEED TO PRAY! It is time to fast and pray. It is time to pray without stopping! Always be tuned into the Holy Spirit.

Your prayers today is saving lives!

Your prayers are transforming your world!
